Villa Batu is a one stop family resort set in the heart of Bali and central to the famous cultural district of Ubud. The villa overlooks an infinity pool that overlooks natural forest and coconut palms. It is surrounded by lush gardens, rice paddies and set in the heart of a local village. Every luxury is catered for. There are 3 principle bedrooms each with private ensuite, The property is set on 3 terraced levels. On arrival, you walk across floating steps through a lush tropical pond to the entrance. When you open the front door you look straight through the main living area across the pool into a tropical paradise. The villa wraps around the pool and an entertainment area boasting BBQ, pizza oven, bar, cable and internet TV, outside kitchen, day beds and outside dining. An organic garden adjoins the villa. On the next level down you can enjoy a massage in a private spa. Go down another level and wander through the lush grass into the reading gazebo or enjoy your private yoga session.
The villa is fully serviced with pool, garden and housekeeping staff. On request you can have your private chef cook your dinner and be driven around the many sights of Ubud by your personal driver. Or you roam at your leisure using the villa motorbikes. The township of Ubud offers any number of restaurants, bars and activities and is only a 6 minute drive away.

Villa Batu is 3 km from the heart of Ubud in the premier area of Ubud. It is set next to a local village in the heart of rice paddies overlooking the village forest along the river. All around are countless small local "warungs', restaurants offering all sorts of local fare and local interpretations of western food. A quick ride down the hill from the elevated paddies takes you to central Ubud with its rich cultural attractions; the palace, museum, markets, restaurants, temples, art galleries, monkey forest, shopping and general venues in which to to relax .
