Ah, Dublin, My Dublin. I don't get in to town by myself very often anymore so when I had to pick up a dress, I wandered around for a little bit afterwards.

1. Walking along the pedestrianised Capel Street. Well, until a cyclist behind me said 'There's a whole footpath right there!' 🤪
2. The building next to The Academy. Pretty sure Phil wouldn't have any issue with this message 👌

Happy Stranger Things Final/Happy New Year 2026 ✨️ This is not a year I will want to remember so happy to turn the page with my fam tonight while we eat our demogorgon pizza + treats. This programme has been a beautiful bonding experience with our 14 year old who, when we were talking about which character we would all be, told me I would be Joyce. I'm perfectly fine with that - unendingly loyal and badass 😎 So, that's the spirit I'm going to take into 2026!

Hey, Hey, last month hubby + I had a lovely night - it was a birthday pressie & Austin knew that I had wanted to stay there for a good while. One of the reasons I wanted to stay was I had watched the progress of the old drawing rooms of Harland & Wolff (2nd photo, setting up for Mother's day) & the telephone exchange (3rd photo) where the offices first received the call that Titanic had been stuck by an iceberg. As I have often felt in places of historical importance, I could nearly see the bustling offices of the past as I walked through this section. The iconic Samson & Goliath cranes are ever present, of course. The last photo was taken in the offices of Tommie Andrews who was part of the design team but perished on the boat. He was made chief draughtsman at age 28. Tommie was last seen moving deck chairs in an attempt to save women & children. He was never found.

Not a lottery winner but was very grateful for an early birthday present as the light came through the chamber this morning & we were connected with the ancients. Screenshot of the moment the chamber floor was lit 🌟

Not a perfect montage by any stretch but a small glimpse of some of the details of paintings I took at the Lavery exhibition last Friday. I spent a lovely hour at the exhibition with my mum 💕 Once I get a minute, I'll detail each painting but in the meantime, I hope some Art might sooth your soul 🌟

A few days in Lisbon with my wee fam to celebrate joint 50th birthdays this year & a wedding anniversary 💖 Our little doggie went on his 1st trip to the dog boarder & boy, did we miss him! He's home now and sleeping at my feet. Alls right in the world again!

We're in full on Autumn mode here in Ireland now but I spent a fab afternoon in one of my favourite spots in Dublin, over the summer. The whole fam went to see the Barbie movie together. This was only my second time as it's not cheap when you have a drink & a nibble too but it was holidays and it was fab 🌟

Yes, it's been a while! Hope this post finds you well x I've been thinking about Kindness a lot lately and how we all need more of it. In fact, as I get older (nealry 50 gals and lads!), I realise that we can't have enough of it, to be honest.

I came across these beautiful words today and thought I'd share them. If every person reading this today thought: 'How can I be kinder in my day' then my work here would be done*
