A few 'gems' from the pond this morning. The river has completely stopped flowing now due the the usual spring drought, so the front pond has almost emptied.
You didn't hear me say this, but we desperately need some rain!

The rock border is slowly waking up now, but the bitterly cold winds are holding things in check.

Unusually cold but dry and bright. The garden has really woken up in the past few weeks. I'm open most, (but not every) day from now on. All visits must be booked ahead as times and days vary.

Despite the relentless cold, wind and rain, the bulbs are fantastic this year. Unfortunately though, they are getting knocked around too much so are not lasting well.
