Hey guys. So I gave a piece of advice to a family last week going on holidays which I thought most people knew, and they told me they had no idea, so I thought it might be worth posting it Just in case there was more people that never heard of this advice before. It might be helpful if you are planning on going abroad this summer or even away for a long weekend. If Anybody else also has any tips for preparing the house before you leave feel free to comment. Hey Guys. So I was asked 3 weeks ago could I reinforce a front and back door from burglary. She was an elderly widow living on her own who was terrified from hearing on the radio how many burglaries was happening in her area. She was finding it hard to sleep at night. Anyways I reinforce both doors for her on the inside which adds an extra level of security and in my opinion gives the doors double the strength against forced entry. Now she feels alot safer. But it got me thinking how many other people are out there with the same worries. As I'm just a small business I cant help everybody but I'll try help one person every 3 weeks. I'll give my time for free. For now I'm just going to help widows because I think they need it the most. So if anybody knows of a widow who's worried about being robbed let me know and I'll do my best to make the house alot safer for her. Thanks 👍

If anybody needs their roof inspected for damaged after these latest storms let me know. I've over 20 years experience in building houses so I know exactly what to look for. Now is the time to get it checked. A cracked slate or tile over the years can cause a slow roof leak that you wont notice until it's to late, which can then cost thousands down the road if left untreated. Even something simple like moss build up along your valley trim can cause a leak. Most people dont know but you need to have a full roof inspection every 5 years just like everything else. Also if you know any elderly people that are worried about roof damage from these last few storms within a 15km radius of banagher I'll check their roofs for free.
