Some places are designed to be seen.
Others are designed to disappear….

Tulips & Ci**rs
Main Bedroom – Boutique Hotel Concept

Concept design by

Tulips & Ci**rs is a concept for a discreet boutique hotel imagined in the heart of Dublin.

The main bedroom was designed for guests who live demanding, fast-paced lives and occasionally need a place where everything slows down.

Behind the bed, a monumental wall of softly backlit onyx panels alternates with deep ebony wood, creating a calm architectural rhythm. The warm amber glow of the stone replaces harsh lighting and fills the room with a soft ambient atmosphere.

Dark bespoke furniture, layered textiles and sculptural pendant lighting create a space that feels calm, private and grounded.

This is not luxury designed to impress.
It is luxury designed to disappear.

A room created for silence, rest and clarity of mind.

There's a famous story of Pablo Picasso.

He was enjoying a meal at a restaurant when a man interrupted him, handed him a napkin and asked:

“Could you sketch something for me? I’ll pay. Name your price.”

Picasso took the napkin, pulled a charcoal pencil from his pocket and started sketching. Using only a few strokes, he drew a goat that was unmistakably a Picasso. He held it up for the man to see.

The man smiled and reached to take the sketch. But Picasso withheld it.

“That will be $100,000.” Picasso said.

The man was astonished. “$100,000?! You drew that in 30 seconds!”

Picasso crumpled up the napkin and stuffed it in his pocket.

“You're wrong.” he said.

“It's taken me 40 years to do that.”

Know your worth.

"Fuller Building", built in 1902 ✨🗞️

It became one of the symbols of New York. At that time, with its 20 floors, it was the tallest building in the city. It contains 23,690.3 m2. The unusual triangular shape of the building was due to the the location conditions: the triangle-shaped terrain was located at the intersection of the 5th Avenue, Broadway and East 22nd Street.
