Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Connemara, County Galway
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Conduct site visits and assess project progress to ensure financial controls are maintained.
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time, providing regular financial reporting.
Assist with project tendering and procurement.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, costs, and contracts.
Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred).
