A recent picture of the orchard that was planted at Heritage Fruit Tree Nursery last year. 250 plus different varieties planted so far. Still only very young trees but lovely and vibrant looking. Got some fruit this year but they will do much better next year. See the difference a year makes in tree development between the two photos

***Christmas Pearmain***
For the season that’s in it.
Christmas Pearmain is an attractive sweet/sharp apple with a nice fruity old fashioned taste. The flavour improves with a little bit of storage and is at its best around Christmas hence the name. This variety is a reliable heavy cropper with good disease resistance and has compact, upright growth so might be suitable for small spaces. Flowering group 3 but partially self-fertile also. Might make a nice Christmas present for someone but would have to be collected as the last Christmas deliveries went out yesterday
