The Kiltybegs Project – Our Sitting Room & Hallway Details 🩷

Continuing our tour through our Kiltybegs home, I wanted to share a few of the bespoke details we added to make the space truly our own.

In the sitting room, we incorporated bespoke splayed window surrounds with detailed raised moulding, full wall panelling tailored to each wall, and a custom timber fire surround. The under-window units were designed in our signature in-frame style, mirroring the look and feel of the kitchen for a seamless connection across the space.

Moving into the hallway, our in-frame understairs units pair beautifully with a bespoke arch featuring curved architrave, corbels, and a dado rail.

For colour, we chose ‘Travertine Mid’ by the Little Greene Paint Company for the sitting room, panelling, and fireplace — a soft neutral. In the hallway, the woodwork is finished in ‘Stock’ by the Little Greene Paint Company, a subtle contrast that keeps the space bright.

The reclaimed solid cherry floors from Wilson’s Yard, Dromore — originally from an old school in Wales, add a sense of warmth underfoot.

Almost all of the furniture, including the sideboards, pictures, round table, hallway table, lamps, and mirror, came from JPS Reclaimed Furniture, whose team couldn’t have been more helpful.

A special mention to for the stunning stairs and doors that tied everything together so beautifully.

The Kiltybegs Project - Our living room 🩷

Hi everyone,
After recently sharing a first glimpse of our new kitchen, I thought I’d take you on a little tour of one of my favourite features of the open-plan living area – our deluxe in-frame TV unit.

We wanted this piece to combine practicality (with lots of storage) and timeless style. To achieve that, we carried the deluxe in-frame design through from the kitchen to the TV unit, creating a seamless connection across the space. It was sprayed and hand-painted on-site in Slipper Satin by Farrow & Ball, with rich stained oak interiors adding warmth and depth. The result is a beautiful balance of light, character, and contrast.

What I love most is how these units anchor the room – they frame the kitchen perfectly while allowing the Calacatta Storm Quartz worktop and brass accents to really shine.

The Kiltybegs Project – Our Forever Home 🩷

Hi everyone, it’s Thomas here, owner of SLEEK.

We’ve been a little quiet on this page lately — and with good reason. Over the past few months we’ve been knee-deep in building our forever home. It’s been a long journey, but today we’re thrilled to finally start sharing it with you… beginning with the heart of the home: the kitchen.

Our kitchen has been a real labour of love, months of planning and detail. We went for a deluxe in-frame design with slipped solid in-frame doors, sprayed and hand-painted on site for that perfect finish. We added custom pantry units with fold-away doors and a stunning Calacatta Storm Quartz worktop from Ideal Stone.

To tie everything together, we chose brass fittings throughout. A Perrin & Rowe brass taps and hand-wash dispenser and Armac Martin handles

It’s exactly what we dreamed of, and we couldn’t be happier to finally see it come to life.

The Baldrumman Project 🖤
SLEEK are excited to showcase this beautiful handleless kitchen from our contemporary range of kitchens. We worked in collaboration with Mode Interiors on this design.

Using black in kitchen design can create a bold and dramatic look, and can help accentuate other colors, textures and finishes in the space. When paired with lighter colors, such as white or beige, black can create a high-contrast effect that can add depth and dimension to the room.

The kitchen was designed to be in harmony with the beautiful Casa Lena brickwork that was designed and built by our client, Stephen.

Our clients chose soft matte finished doors sprayed in ‘Dressage’ by Colourtrend and then ‘American Walnut’ wooden doors. The handleless tracks were sprayed in ‘Dressage’ to complement the doors.

Some key design features of this kitchen are the solid walnut floating shelves with recessed LED lighting, a bespoke pocket door coffee station, and solid walnut interior with LED lighting.

The clients then chose a ‘Noir Desire’ 12mm ultra thin ceramic worktop and gables from Idealstone to complete this kitchen.

The Doohamlet Project 🖤
SLEEK are delighted to showcase this truly eye catching handleless kitchen from our contemporary range of kitchens.

Opting for a dark coloured kitchen can often be perceived as simple and plain, however in combination with the right materials it becomes a real statement.

Our clients chose soft matte finished doors sprayed in ‘Graphite’ and then ‘Wild Oak' wooden doors. Brushed brass handless tracks were then used to complement the two tones.

Some key design features of this kitchen are the bespoke units made to fit into the alcove, the extra space between the worktops and cabinet doors and the Matt black tap.

The clients then chose ‘Noir Desire’ 12mm ultra thin ceramic worktop from Idealstone to complete this kitchen.
