It is with a heavy and sad heart that I write this post tonight. On Sunday 27th June our dear friend and neighbour Barney Cumiskey passed away. Barney had a great interest in his community and served for a number of years on the committee of Oram Community Development Association. He had a great interest in seeing the refurbishment and reuse of The Old School. He poured some life into it by organising the use of it to Castleblayney Boxing Club for some years. Barney was a pure gentleman whom offered help to his neighbours if ever they needed it

We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to his beloved wife Jo, daughters Maria, Reanne, Louise and Clare, sons-in-law Patrick, Ian and Declan, his grandchildren Liam, James, Michael, Ruairi, Ethan and Eabha, his sisters Rosie, Pauline, Ella, Rachel, his brothers Patrick, Maurice and their families, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May He Rest In Peace.

Barney will arrive at St Patrick's Church, Oram for Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Thursday, 1st July with burial in adjoining cemetry afterwards.

Please adhere to continuing social distancing guidelines. Barney's Community and friends may pay their final respects by lining the route his remains will travel to Oram Chapel.

House Strictly Private Thursday Morning Please.
