UPDATE: KEANU IS SAFE IN FOSTER🙏

Failed! We have failed this poor, sweet, kind dog that we promised a better life to.😢

When we took Keanu off that chain we told him that he would never want for anything again. He would have the best of everything we said... food, vet care, affection by the bucketful and a safe place to live....but we haven't kept our promise. 😞

We have nowhere for Keanu.

He has to leave his foster home tomorrow and he doesn't have a foster home to go to... or a forever home to go to. It will break our hearts if he has to go into a kennel.💔

When you see a dog neglected and chained in a shed, it breaks you a little bit. Even our volunteers who see all sorts of abuse find it hard to stomach this. Like Keanu... very under weight, desperate for human contact and his spirit broken.😞

It's a joy to save them from that misery and show them love, show them human decency. 💕 Keanu doesn't know how to play, doesn't know what toys are, is still delighted to get fed twice a day. Adores his cuddles and being close to people. He doesn't ask for much.

Keanu is very scared of other dogs so it's hard to find a foster home for him. Good and gentle with kids. Gentle with everyone. Fine to spend a few hours alone. We are desperate for our boy. Can you help?🙏 If you can provide a foster or forever home for Keanu please get in touch urgently.

Keanu is a three year old English Pointer and has had all his vet work done. More photos in comments.

We have some lovely Straight and Waney (Live) Edged Spalted Beech in stock at the moment sample attached. A standard size mantel is 1350mm and can be floating or with corbels (supports) attached. The mantels are made to order so if you need longer or shorter that’s no problem. Please pm with length you require and we can price for you 😁

If you like clean lines and straight edges then American Oak is the option for you! This premium timber has a beautiful natural grain. We can finish these mantel in natural White Oak, Golden Oak or with a Dark Oak stain applied. Message us for pricing on your required size. Mantels are made to order and can be floating or with supports.

Thanks a million to all our customers who have sent us back photos over the years it is much appreciated! A mantel photographed in a workshop surrounded by timber does not do the mantel justice! To see it in its new home is fantastic and shows just how a timber mantel can transform a fireplace or room!
