ure in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny with a higher diploma in commercial horticulture and a royal horticultural society certificate in general horticulture. He then went to work for a time in the Channel Islands as a plant quality controller for a major young plant firm in the UK. From here he returned to Galway and has worked in the garden centre business now for more than 16 years. Clarenbridge garden centre has a huge selection of stock to include, trees, shrubs, specimen trees, climbers, bedding plants, herbaceous, herbs and perennials, heathers , pond plants and rockery plants, trees from whips to 30 foot specimens, hedging, decorative stone and gravel, landscape products, garden tools, timber containers and trellis, pottery from around the world, garden ornaments, garden furniture, hardware associated with the garden, herbicides and plant treatments, fresh flowers, Christmas products and more! We also now provide a garden advice & supply contract service within the garden centre. Clarenbridge garden centre continues to expand with the recent addition of a full eCommerce on-line garden centre. This is not only to sale plants and gardening products, but is a source of information, advice and reference for gardeners all over Ireland.
