A few hedges that we shaped up recently. Sometimes you have to cut them back hard to bring the best out of them in the future. The key is knowing what hedges you can do this to and when.

Phase one complete with New Kerbs, New driveway base, Lighting cables, Drainage, New Entrance pillars and Ranch Style Fence. This opened up the front view and entrance to the historic house preparing it for future works. All work is done thinking about making future jobs and maintenance much easier.

Now taking some bookings for street cleaning as surfaces like this now become dangerous over the winter months. This is done to a high & professional standard. With surfaces treated with correct products. There is more to it than just washing it. Treating it afterwards will help keep the problems at bay for much longer. First cut of a new lawn built last season. The previous lawn was full of w**d grass, w**d and rushes. The job was to get the ground clear of these and create a new clean lawn. When building a lawn we like to take time to ensure this is what you get and do not walk away from it once work has been done. Like this one we have been back this year to ensure that this customer has a lawn to be proud of before we hand it over

It was great being sent these pictures recently. These hedges were a little out of control a few years ago. Back then we hit them hard to get them down to a manageable height and width. Since then we have looked after them getting them back to great condition and easily manageable. While also keeping this holiday home garden tidy.

A great article on plastic grass. A must read before you think about replacing your lawn. This surface does a good job for little play areas but please don’t think about replacing a lawn with it.

Why would anyone replace a key sustainable component of our living environment with a coal and oil-derived product, one of only limited life span and almost impossible to recycle? When the entire planet is waging war on unnecessary plastics and the climate emergency, what is it that persuades consumers to make this terrible choice? And why cover children's sports fields in products that can harm their health? Why on earth does anyone choose artificial grass? And why does the Government do nothing about it? Cononeaster was slightly out of control taking over the paving and covering stone wall. Ground cover plants such as these are terrible as they shoot new roots into the joints of paving and walls making them a nightmare to remove. But it’s All ready to be power washed now.
