'Snow-capped Mountains'

Another take on a weave that has proven to be one of my more popular ones. The driftwood is from a beach in West Cork. A suitable weave for the time of year with cold weather due here in Ireland this week ❄ Are you one of those hoping for snow?

Hard to believe Christmas is just around the corner. The tree 🎄 went up over the weekend and the it will be time to do some festive baking soon!

My shop remains closed until early 2023 but if you want to get your hands on this, or any of my other pieces, you can pop me a DM or email. You'll get a good deal but don't tell anyone 🤫

I have been on an extended break but hopefully getting back painting and weaving so they'll be more creations in the way.

"Coloured Circles"

Finally got around to photographing this creation in the lovely burst of March sunshine we've been experiencing in Ireland over the past few days ☀

Although similar to other weaves I've completed, I decided against using wooden dowels and hanging string, instead opting for an invisible mount on the back to give it a 'floating' effect. However, I'm thinking of possibly getting it framed and would love to hear what you think about this below 👇

Unitl I make a decision on framing, I won't be listing this piece for sale but do check out my shop for woven wall hangings like this and much more.

"Scrap Jars"

After a little break from IG and weaving, I'm back posting again with these little jars of scrap yarn and wool.

After seeing the many imaginative ideas people have for what to do with leftover yarn, wool and scraps, I settled on filling some glass jars and I hope you'll agree, the end result is cute (and colourful)!

I have listed them on my etsy shop in case you'd like to grab one. They look great on a bookshelf, side table or windowsill with the light filtering through the glass.
