My Potatoes

My Potatoes My Potatoes will sow, care for and maintain potatoes in your garden. My Potatoes was created in 2012 to provide a kitchen gardening service.

The service My Potatoes provides can be viewed as a domestic gardening service combined with the concept of “Grow It Yourself” or “Grow Your Own”. My Potatoes will come to your garden or allotment and sow potatoes or vegetables. Additional levels of care and maintenance, e.g. blight spraying and weed control, are also offered.

My elephant garlic were a slow burner too, but have come along, towering over the cristo garlic.

Despite the late spring and cold May (so far) my shallots are coming along. Planted in January there wasn't a stir 'til April, but now they're coming along nicely.
Their shape reminds me of the flaming gr***de emblem of la Légion étrangère

Blurb from the Irish Seed Savers Association:
Continually a very popular choice, especially in Co. Clare where it was the standard first early to grow, Land Leaguers (pre-1905, Ireland) produce a violet purple-skinned oval tuber with a characteristic ring under the skin. Its floury flesh is light yellow.
