I've been asked down the years DAMP DAMP ! how I get rid of it I clean it paint it ....it comes back...
Well here it is the number one product by a country mile for getting rid damp of all sorts once and for all , Below are the steps for a damp free house
1 : Find source of damp such as vents blocked ect and rectify that before anything
2: Sheet out affected area as BIN primer is the consistency of milk no matter how well your stir it so expect drips
3:Wash down affected and surrounding area of damp with sugarsoap and warm water and leave to dry
4: Give wall light sand with p,140 sandpaper to help with the absorption of paint then dust down gently
5: Apply with a brush the BIN primer to the damp areas been careful of drips allow to dry for 30 mins to an hour then recoating with second coat
6: Leave the primer an hour or two to dry and you are free to coat up walls again with whichever wall colour you choose DAMP FREE ..
7: PLEASE leave as many windows doors open as possible as this does have quite a strong fume smell and mask should probably be worn if at all possible, Hope this helps somebody out
