Take advantage of this fine weather and give your garden equipment some TLC. Cleaning your garden tools, Polytunnel and greenhouses now will help with the January blues and your fruit & veg will thank you for it in the growing season. 🌰🌰💦💦💦💦💦💦💦🌊

It's that time of year again! Give your polytunnel some TLC by washing the polythene inside and out. A bucket of soapy water and a soft sweeping brush does the trick, followed by a rinse with a hose. Ours has been done annually, and it may have helped to keep the polythene durable. We're still on the original polythene 23 years or more after the tunnel was put up!

A great tip for looking after your garden tools

Fill an old paint can w/ SAND, not dirt. Pour in a small can of oil. Keep your garden tools in the sand. It works by keeping them clean and oiled (no rust).
