We often recommend our clients and architects consider using posi joists between floors whenever possible. Posi joists allow for more efficient use of space and eliminate the need to lower ceilings by an additional 150mm, as is often required with hollow core systems. Additionally, they simplify the installation of engineering systems, such as ventilation and electrical wiring.

We’ve received positive feedback from experienced construction companies who appreciated our recommendations to reevaluate their design choices early in the planning stages. For example, during the calculation of our MVHR systems, we suggested switching to posi joists to accommodate proper installation.
