👀 Keep an eye on our page because we’re going to be showing you a huge repair job we recently completed on a very large French door that was fitted with a tilt & turn system.

❌ This door had already been repaired twice before by others, but the system kept failing and causing ongoing issues for the customer.

✅ We had previously repaired the neighbour’s door with the exact same problem, so the customer contacted us for a proper long-term solution.

🛠️ We recommended removing the tilt & turn system completely and converting the door over to strong standard French door hinges instead — giving the customer a much more reliable, secure and long-lasting setup.

Things to look out for when choosing a company:

Unfortunately, this window was previously “repaired” by somebody who done a terrible job 😳 The wrong repairs caused damage to the frame with multiple unnecessary screw holes and the window still wasn’t working correctly.

We removed the damaged parts, repaired the issues correctly, fitted new hinges, realigned the window and got it back working perfectly again — airtight, weather tight and like new for the customer 🙌🏡

This set of French doors was fitted incorrectly ❌The glass was not fitted properly, the doors were badly aligned, and the locking system was not working correctly. The customer even had the original company back out TWICE, but the problem was never fixed 😟

So we carried out a full inspection 👨‍🔧

As you can see, there were far too many packers fitted into the glass because the doors were not toe and healed correctly. We removed the glass, reset it properly, toe and healed the doors correctly, realigned and adjusted the doors, and got the mechanism back locking and working perfectly again ✅🔒

Now these French doors are sealing, locking, and working like new again for this happy customer 🙌

Here we have a customer who had an issue with a French door glass unit that was blown and full of condensation between the panes 🌫️❌

After inspection, we noticed the glass unit had been packed incorrectly, which caused the unit to break down over time and fill with condensation 😬

We replaced it with a new double Soft K toughened glass unit ✨ making the door crystal clear again and looking like new! 👌

We also replaced hinges on top-hung windows where the wrong size hinges had previously been fitted during another repair 🔧 The incorrect hinges caused bad drafts, exterior noise, and major heat loss 🥶🌬️🔊
