A little bit of Autumnal colour on the mantlepiece. The dried Chinese lanterns were a lovely organic find at my local market, arranged here in a vintage handmade vase, which you can find on the website. I love mixing old finds with handmade pieces and letting a vignette come together naturally. As for the askew picture, the slightly grubby mirror and the dog bundle making a guest appearance, well, real homes are meant to be lived in! 🧡

A magnificent misty morning in Dublin on this last day of October. The dog thoroughly enjoyed that walk in the park.
It’s been a bit quiet over here on the Findshop gram lately. I’ve been busy keeping the home fires burning and looking after things closer to home, but I haven’t forgotten about you all. Hoping to be back sharing more vintage and antique inspired interiors and items as we head into Winter. Wishing you all a very Happy Halloween. Have a wonderful evening what ever you are up to. 🎃👻🔥

Are you looking to upgrade your work from home interior? Perhaps you are in need of a gorgeous little antique table. This Victorian example would be perfect in a small space. Slim fit with a classic unfussy design. It has lovely turned legs a large drawer, plenty of space for a chair underneath, or it could be used it in a hall for a lamp, in a bathroom as repurposed sink vanity, or my favourite use it as an occasional antique island in a little kitchen to add character. This won’t hang around long so pop me a DM for more details. It’s on the website if you want a good look now!

If you were watching my stories at the weekend, you may have spotted this beautiful and unusual French antique tambour chest.
We have gently restored this piece, keeping its original charm and character. The tambour front has brass handles and opens to reveal multiple drawers in double, making it incredibly practical for storing papers, documents and smaller items.
It would also work beautifully in a shop or studio, with the drawers easily pulled out for displaying stock.
A substantial, versatile piece with lovely original detail, equally nice in a traditional or contemporary interior
Dimensions are 130cms height x 86cms wide x 39cms

Celebrating a successful re-launch of my bathroom being in working order again ( it was out of action due to a massive shower leak which was discovered during the rewire, story for another day) By colour drenching in this deep dark shade. If you would like to know which colour dm me. And then I decided that after all that hard work I deserved to go shopping in my own website. I chose a few lovely antique pieces to add comfort and luxury. What do you think?

This is your sign to take your dog to the beach. It’s the ultimate nervous system reset. I get that not everyone loves dogs and are wary. We all deserve peace. But on a wide open empty coastline it’s pure therapy!
Hoping Ireland will keep these spaces open for responsible owners and their pets for a long time to come!
