National Heritage week will run from August 19th to 27th. Each year, this event promote our natural, built and cultural Irish heritage. To celebrate it, we are excited to bring you on a heritage audioguide tour of the East Pier.

This was our first ever audio trail, produced before smartphones and still sounds fresh!

This 14-stop audio-guided trail, out and back, on Dún Laoghaire’s main pier takes us on a journey that includes tragedy, bravery, wildlife, as well as poetry, music, and engineering.
The voices are producer Aileen O’Meara and science writer Mary Mulvihill.
