We are pleased to share that site works have recently commenced on the ISO 5 and ISO 7 cleanrooms for CWS, a leading holistic system provider across hygiene, mats, workwear, fire protection, cleanroom solutions, and health & care.

Our 1,450 sqm scope includes full cleanroom design, technical stage, design and build of ancillary support spaces, and a refurbishment of existing admin areas, ensuring CWS Cleanrooms's operations are supported by a modern, high-performance environment.

A strong multidisciplinary team is driving this project forward including Stewart Construction as the main contractor, Egis as the leading structural engineer, Atkins as the Fire Consultant & PSDP and Metec Consulting Engineers as the M&E Consultants.

TOT Architects are proud to continue delivering innovative, technical, and future-ready spaces for Ireland’s cleanroom and hygiene sector. A good client, contractor and design team is sure to lead to a successful result for all.

We are delighted to share that Kemil Naidoo has been awarded both the Emerging Researcher Paper Award and the Overall Best Paper Award for his outstanding research with TU Dublin on GPT-enabled BIM generative design for cleanrooms.

This achievement is a testament to Kemil’s dedication to innovation and the continuous pursuit of excellence in architectural design and technology. His work exemplifies the integration of advanced AI tools in shaping the future of cleanroom design, a vital step forward to smarter, more holistic, and more efficient cleanroom design.

We look forward to translating this groundbreaking knowledge into our upcoming cleanroom and other life sciences projects and to continuing to push the boundaries of digital design in architecture.

We are excited to share the onsite progress of Nexus Logistics Park, representing the first phase of a landmark 2.5 million sq. ft. logistics development pioneering the use of mass timber frame structures we have designed alongside Gottstein Architects, for our client IPUT Real Estate Dublin.

Nexus Logistics Park will deliver 17 institutional-grade logistics buildings, setting a new benchmark in both design and sustainability for the Irish market. Construction is well underway on Unit 4, a 112,400 sq ft timber-frame warehouse which is due for practical completion in Q1 2026. Meanwhile, Unit 8, spanning 53,000 sq ft, has just commenced on site with a completion date in Q2 2026.

The development demonstrates a commitment to sustainable and high-performance design, with BER A1 and LEED Gold certifications across the park. When completed, the development will balance functionality, sustainability, and a vibrant work environment, creating a new standard for logistics infrastructure in Ireland.

TOT Architects is thrilled to announce the successful completion of Phase 1 of Project Greenfield, a landmark development for Integer, one of the world's leading life science companies specializing in the manufacture of intravenous diagnostic devices.

Located in Galway, Project Greenfield features a state-of-the-art, two-story manufacturing and research/development facility of approximately 10,600 sqm, complete with ancillary two-story office and staff facilities covering an area of approximately 2,450 sqm. This project marks a significant milestone in Integer's expansion, reflecting their commitment to innovation and excellence in the life sciences sector.

TOT Architects has collaborated closely with Integer, to ensure the facility meets their high standards for quality and functionality. This cutting-edge facility will enhance Integer’s capacity for innovation, allowing them to continue providing top-tier medical technology solutions worldwide.
