Trade Electric Group is expanding, and we’re looking for a Branch Manager to lead our Mullingar branch.

Mullingar has recently become part of the Trade Electric Group - a 100% Irish-owned business established in 1971, with 15 branches nationwide and a proud member of the Fegime Ireland buying group.

This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales performance, and deliver excellent customer service, while leading and developing a strong team.

We’re looking for someone who is sales and service driven, self-motivated, and brings strong communication skills. Experience in the electrical wholesale industry is advantageous, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Intact.

Competitive salary (DOE), profit sharing scheme, and additional benefits included.

Trade Electric Group is delighted to announce the acquisition of Mullingar Electrical Wholesale.

Founded in 1987 by Peadar Conlon, Mullingar Electrical Wholesale operates four branches. Its head office is based in Mullingar and supports branches in Dundalk, Longford and Tullamore.

This acquisition brings the Trade Electric network to 15 branches nationwide — something that would have been unimaginable when the business was founded in 1971. We are particularly proud to have achieved this growth while maintaining 100% Irish ownership and control.

Finally, we would like to thank our loyal staff, customers, and suppliers for your continued support over the years and for helping us grow the business into what it is today.

As we close out 2025, we’d like to take a moment to sincerely thank all of our customers and partners for your continued support throughout the year. Your trust in Trade Electric means a great deal to us.

It’s been another busy year across the business, from upgrading our IT systems to refurbishing a number of branches — with more improvements planned for 2026. As we look ahead, we’re mindful of industry challenges such as rising copper prices, but we remain optimistic about continued growth in Ireland’s construction sector.

Most importantly, we’d like to acknowledge our fantastic team across the country. Their commitment, experience and hard work play a vital role in supporting both our business and yours.

As in previous years, we’ve chosen to support Irish charitable organisations in place of Christmas gifts, and we hope you share in this sentiment.
