FINAL CALL FOR ARTISTS! 🎨

We're thrilled to bring back Arthouse, our annual charity art auction, and we’re inviting artists to be part of it! We’re seeking donated artworks to raise vital funds for Outhouse and help create inclusive, supportive spaces for all. 🌈 The deadline is this weekend, so make sure to get your pieces submitted online!

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻, 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱’𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿

As part of 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 2026, 𝘔𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘦𝘭 𝘋𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘯: 𝘐𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥’𝘴 𝘌𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘗𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳 explores the remarkable life of the Irish doctor, writer, athlete and Buddhist monk who became the first recorded transgender man to undergo gender-affirming surgery.

Through photographs, text, sound and video, the exhibition explores Dillon’s pioneering transition, his ideas about gender and identity, and his lasting place in trans history.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝘆𝗻𝗻 🌈💔

Declan Flynn was a kind-hearted 31-year-old from Dublin who deserved a life filled with love, laughter, and safety. Instead, in September 1982, his life was stolen in a brutal homophobic attack in Fairview Park.

When his killers walked free with suspended sentences, the injustice shocked the nation. Just months later, hundreds marched from Liberty Hall to Fairview in a significant protest - the first of its kind in Ireland. That moment of defiance helped spark Dublin’s first Pride parade a few months later, planting the seeds of a movement still fighting for equality today.

We remember Declan- not just for the tragedy of his loss, but for the courage his story inspired. 🌈✊
