A massive welcome to Calam Jones, who has joined us as a software engineer intern in our HQ.
We had a quick Q&A session with Calam to know more about him and his interests.
What is your educational background?
I am currently a second year electronic engineering student in University College Dublin.

What is it that you like the most about software or technology?
My favorite thing about technology is the fact that it's constantly evolving to help make our everyday lives easier.

Your passion/hobbies or anything that you wanna share?
My hobbies include hurling, and going to the gym. I love anything to do with space, be it documentaries or science fiction films and my favorite movie is Interstellar.

According to Irish Cancer Society, by 2020, 1 in 2 people in Ireland will develop cancer during their lifetime. With these numbers increasing drastically, cancer awareness can lead to people making healthier lifestyle choices which results in reducing the risk of cancer.

We believe that cancer awareness starts with educating our people about the disease, its symptoms and its precautions.

From the Cancer Awareness seminar that was conducted at our office today, we learnt about different types of cancers, their causes, symptoms and the precautionary measures.

One of our initiatives include Pilates classes every Tuesday and Friday which is conducted by our ex-employee and our beloved friend Kasia Wisniewska 😬
