On behalf of Core Credit Union Limited we changed the use of an existing restaurant building on George’s Street Upper to create a vibrant new branch location in the heart of Dun Laoghaire. The client has no requirement for the floorspace above ground floor level so we extended and converted the upper floors to create three A-Rated apartments.

This project is a case study on how these redundant “above the shop” spaces can be used to help bring much needed accommodation and vitality back into our town centres.

The design focus on the location of the site on the banks of the River Barrow in Carlow Town and aim to provide a creative and robust architectural solution to enhance the local context and create first class living.

Like our post pandemic waistline, we’re expanding again.

Krüger Lyons have an immediate vacancy for a Senior Architectural Technologist based out of our offices in Citywest. An excellent location if you’re tired of driving into the City Centre already again.

The successful candidate will have 5 years+ experience in Ireland and be able to take a project from inception through the full regulatory and tender processes.

We will also need you to manage projects on site, through to completion.

Proficiency in Revit, knowledge of the planning, Fire, DAC and BC(A)R processes are a must. An MCIAT accreditation would also be a help.

Unfortunately, due to our current staffing levels, we can only accept candidates who are allowed to work in Ireland without the need to apply for a Visa.
