We have done a few of these over the years, whether it was the good company or the good weather or a nice mix of both, this three day project was so enjoyable. An old farm building, the roof was in poor shape so we were asked to help bring it back to life. New timbers, felt , new sheeting and barges. The end product will mean that this building which has already provided so much, will live on to see the next generation put it to good use too. There is so much potential in these old buildings and we love being a part of it.

Hi all, I am looking to take on a carpenter, 2nd,3rd,4th year apprentices or fully qualified will be considered. Work is generally based local to the dungarvan area. Your own transport is necessary, a good work ethic along with a willingness to learn are essential. Roofing experience would be a big advantage but not essential, safe pass and manual handling are also necessary. Roof finished today! The owners wanted the roof to look uniform with the same roof covering throughout. They opted for these beautiful Brazilian natural slates. The whole roof was stripped, re-latted and felted, re-slated and all new PVC was also included. We love how this turned out and the view wasn’t bad either 👌🏼
