Pontoon Nursery is situated on the a slope on the shore of Lough Conn in Co. Mayo between Knockmore and the Pontoon Bridge Hotel. Our plants are tried and tested in our weather beaten West of Ireland nursery and gardens. Cold temperatures, rain and wind are all factors in the death of perennials in winter. We get more than our fair share of all three! Our yearly average rainfall is over 1500mm. If our plants survive here they should survive anywhere. We grow a wide range of perennials, rockery and bog garden plants along with a range of grasses. Above all, we specialize in perennials for seaside gardens. Our gardens were designed by ourselves and many people come here for inspiration. Many of our customers are unsure about what to plant where, and also need advice on companion planting. This is an important part of our service. Our plants are affordably priced. We accept all major cards
