Kanturk Flower & Garden Club Members and visitors alike welcome to join for gardening talks and demonstrations on the 2nd Wed of every month (Sept to May), the Trade Union Hall,

An active flower club that meets the second Wednesday of every month from September to May in the Trade Union Hall, Strand Street, Kanturk, North Cork (Beside the Alley Bar). Come join us at our meetings where guest speakers including celebrated gardening writers, owners of nursery and garden centres share their pointers on a wide range of topics from growing your own vegetables, seasonal gardenin

g tips, flower arranging, health and well being and much more. Affiliated to AOIFA. One of the highligths of the year is the annual gardening tour to visit celebrated gardens around the country.

Ordination to the priesthood of Tiernan Burke 3pm Pentecost Sunday, St. Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh.

Rev. Tiernan was with us during his year as a transitional deacon for Mass and as Master of Ceremonies for the Confirmations for the Parishes of Kanturk & Lismire and Castlemagner.
We wish him every blessing as he takes this next step in his faith journey. Please keep him in your prayers🙏

Lord Jesus,
You have called Tiernan to serve Your people as a priest.
On this Feast of Pentecost, as we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, pour out Your Spirit upon Tiernan as he comes forward for ordination.

May he serve with the Heart of Christ - strong in truth, gentle in mercy, and faithful in prayer.
May he bring peace, healing, hope, and the light of the Gospel to all he meets.

May his generous "yes" inspire others to listen for Your call in their own lives.
