What if you could walk through your house before you build it?

Imagine you could walk around your house before it was built...
With virtual reality you can literally walk through your house before you built it. You can see with your own two eyes if your kitchen will be big enough or if your bedrooms are spacious enough for the queen size bed you always wanted and the walk in wardrobe.

So I was having a conversation today about VR and my friend was saying that the architect should supply this service as part of the design package. That its a no brainer for the clients to be able to see exactly what they are getting. I'm of the opinion it should be an added extra to the price.

What's your thoughts, would you pay for a service like this and if so how much would you expect to pay?

This is a render that we integrated into a photograph of the actual street. We used Google Sketch Up to model the building and rendered it in Kerkythea. The post render process was done in Photoshop.
