Discover the fascinating journey of Ireland's oldest A1 retrofit, right here in beautiful Kinsale! This historic house dates back to 1560 when it was first sold, and was recorded on a map in 1603. After 20 years of careful renovation from an F energy rating, it has now achieved an incredible A1 BER rating in December 2023.

If you have visited Kinsale in recent years, you might have seen the Kinsale sign hanging in the main car park. The 21ft x 12ft sign is the creation of local artist Audrey Cantillon and was hung as an art installation for Kinsale Arts Weekend in 2019.
