GEORGIAN HOUSE LIMERICK The Georgian House is one of a terrace of six houses built c. 1830 by the Pery Square Tontine Company.

This terrace is widely regarded as being the best example of late Georgian Architecture in Limerick and probably in Ireland. The Georgian House and Garden will cater for many civic, corporate and cultural events including:

Limerick Civic Trust were proud to welcome Norman Hewson, brother of U2 front man Paul Hewson to unveil the commemorative plaque along with the Mayor of Limerick at the Stella on Shannon Street. The plaque honors the winning band who were presented with a cheque for £500 in 1978. It is now what Adam Clayton calls "the exact point of becoming U2".
