One of my favourite plants all year round is Sarcococca, this is a evergreen slow growing shrub with small white flowers in January /February which have a beautiful fragrance. Very easy to grow

There are meant trees and shrubs you can plant in your garden to give you wonderful autumn colour, this is one of my favourites, growing in my garden

Cercis Judas tree, really beautiful tree requires full sun and fertile well drained soil, great combination with the dahlia, flowers that grow from tubers each year. Tubers need to be lifted and stored in a Frost free place.
