Maintain your garden regularly.

I love No Mow May and what it does for the bees.
I get asked to cut gardens all year round that have gotten seriously overgrown, and I don't take those on anymore.

The reason is rats. Long grass gives them great cover to nest, and with that comes droppings. Those droppings can carry things like Leptospirosis and Hantavirus, and if they dry out, mowing can put dust in the air that isn’t safe to breathe for anyone.

Maintaining your lawn is not just for aestetics it's essential .

Just a quick note on bookings so everyone knows how it works:

The delay isn’t me ignoring you. My process has 3 steps:

1. *I read the messages* - I get a lot of requests and I go through each one.
2. *I assign a slot* - I pick a date and offer it to one person first.
3. *I wait for a reply* - I hold that slot for them for 12 hours. I can’t offer it to anyone else until they say yes, no, or the time runs out.

That waiting period is what slows things down. I’m stuck until the first person answers.

So the hold-up is the system you are not being ignored.
Senior and vulnerable requests take priority.
I check WhatsApp Mon–Fri and reply within 1 working day.
