We helped a fabulous client redesign their gorgeous home in Zimbabwe recently.

This entire project was such a joy and what a gorgeous nature inspired result using limited colours and furniture available to us.

We also worked with what we had already in the property.

Apart from one built in unit, almost everything was re-imagined and re-purposed.

Thanks to Eleanor flegg and the Irish independent for a lovely article on bathroom lighting in three property section of last Fridays independent.

Great to share a page with one of my design buddies l, sarah twigg too... so nice to see!

Also congrats to the graduate designers from TU Dublin on their achievements.

Thanks to FLAIR showers too, as their design partner it's easy to sing their praises as they make such incredible quality showers, enclosures and tailor made frameless panels. Creating perfect harmony between out there in nature and in here, in your bathroom. Surround yourself with beauty! You are worth it!

Always lovely to be recognised and to be able to share my passion for interiors and lighting on the printed page! I'll never get tired of that!!

Bernadette Doolan has built an amazing new studio space to house and show her work.

The body of work is incredible, so thought provoking and moving. One work in progress in her workshop made me feel slightly judged & Bernadette and I chatted about why that was.... perhaps a resemblance to a nun from my school days!

Bernadette is a living artist producing incredible work, in many mediums, reminiscent of Irish childhoods, communion days, sights&sounds all covered. ALWAYS questioning and exploring. It's a journey into my childhood every time I view her work.

This is exactly how art should make you feel - elated, joyous, melancholic, reflective.

Time well spent.

I think the greige days are coming to an end at last in interiors!!

It's OK to choose colour, subtle hues promote a feeling of nature and calm. Biophilic energy in simple design.

This is my low coffee table in my kitchen, it was chosen with a view to our family putting their feet up on it, which is exactly what we should be doing.... actually living in our homes.

I want comfort AND style and no reason why we can't have both!!

This beautiful contemporary kitchen was part of a full downstairs renovation where we moved a wall to create a larger pantry/utility room & a much larger downstairs wc.

We added a 4m square extension to the rear of the existing home also to create a magnificent entertaining space.

A joy to work on this project with the adventurous, stylish, owner!

I had the most inspiring & uplifting morning spent with the absolutely gorgeous Sophie Anderton Balenska.

Thank you Sophie 😊 for extending an invitation to me to hang out with you this morning and walk around your incredible new wellness centre in Wicklow.

Your plans for the spaces are inspired and I thoroughly enjoyed every single conversation about design and senses led design and how to introduce biophilics into what will, no doubt, be one of Irelands leading wellness centres in the not too distant future.

To be surrounded by nature at every turn is really the ultimate goal and Sophie will definitely create this dream here in Wicklow.

When you have someone at the helm who truly believes in the power of nature to heal and transform, it can only have a positive outcome for anyone who is lucky enough to visit this special place.

I am so thrilled for you and your gorgeous team Sophie.... so happy you've found your circle ###xx
