When we started this group, the whole notion of it was simple: no one in Dublin should have to go through the hassle of building or renovating on their own, without a word of advice or a hand to guide them. We wanted a spot where folk could share the real story, swap tips that actually work, and – most important of all – warn each other about the cowboys and the chancers out there.
So a big thank you to every one of ye for coming on board, for asking the questions, for giving the answers, and for making this place what it is – a community where trust comes first and where we look after our own.
The more of us there are, the stronger we get. And when neighbours mind each other, we all build better homes – and better lives.
So keep her lit, keep the questions coming, and remember: the craic is only starting.
