Another fresh transformation completed in Greystones 👌
This one was a bit different - the client wanted to keep the existing wallpaper but give the room a clean, updated look. Instead of removing it, I brought it back to life with the right prep and products.
First step was securing any loose areas by re-gluing the wallpaper properly. Then I carried out detailed prep work - correcting around sockets and switches, trimming overlaps in corners, and making sure everything was smooth and ready.
For the primer, I used Zinsser Wallpaper Cover-Up. This is an oil-based product, which is key - it doesn’t react with the wallpaper paste, so you get a solid, reliable base without any bubbling or lifting.
Finished off with Crown Paints Clean Extreme for the top coat — durable, washable, and a perfect clean finish.
The result: a refreshed, modern look without the need for a full strip and re-paper 💪
