I see a lot of back gardens where sheds are installed right up against the boundary wall to maximise space. Totally understandable — but it often causes problems down the line.

If you’re planning to install or replace a shed, my advice is simple: always allow enough room to walk around it, regardless of the material it’s made from.

I’ve seen plenty of sheds damaged over time by vegetation growing unseen behind them — ivy being a big culprit! And that’s before we even talk about growth coming from your neighbour’s side of the wall 😁

A small gap now can save costly repairs and headaches later… 💶🤕
