A wee nugget from Noah!
The soil microbiome, just like our gut microbiome, is the most important thing really!
It is a complex community of microorganisms, called microbes, consisting of bacteria, fungi, archaea, and viruses all living in the soil.
The microbiome acts as the invisible power horse of all terrestrial life.
The microbes drive processes like nutrient cycling, carbon sequestration, and disease suppression, making them vital for plant health and ecosystem resilience.
The microbiology around the roots of each tree are in a sense tailored to that tree, as they have been adapting through the lifetime of that particular tree.
We, as humans, are not separate to this conplex relationship with our surroundings either! There are studies around growing ones vegetable seeds by using your own saliva as a medium to inoculate your seeds with information, prior to sowing, so that your food grows with specific compounds or antioxidants to better heal your body!
Isn't life pure magic! β¨οΈ
