The journey of Irish wool continues🐑🇮🇪

In our last video, we showed how local farmers bring their freshly shorn wool to us. Once it’s weighed and recorded, the next stage begins.

Every fleece that arrives at Dooley’s Wool is graded individually for colour, quality and type before being prepared for pressing and baling. This process helps ensure that the right wool is used for the right products, allowing us to make the most of every fleece that comes through our doors.

Did you know a single bale can contain wool from up to 200 fleeces?🐑

Every order is carefully packed by hand right here at our headquarters in Ballyduff, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary📍

From selecting the exact products ordered, to packaging everything using sustainable materials, we make sure every detail is looked after before your order leaves us🤍

Every product includes our scannable QR code tags, allowing you to trace exactly where the wool came from, while supporting local Irish sheep farmers🐑

Once packed, your order heads off in the Dooley’s Wool van and is on the way to your home as quickly as possible📦
