Happy st Patrick's day...the old house at Belfield is renovated on Belfield Christmas tree farm it took a few years to get there but completed in 2022. Once a dream , through hard work and the family history of the house, up cycling, recycling we made it happen.
This years project was to improve the old Dairy to a seating area/outdoor space,, work in progress..to our customers and guests wishing ye all the best of luck 2026 ☘️☘️

Christmas at the old house in Belfield🎄

Built almost 150 years ago, from stone gathered right here on the land, this house holds generations of stories. The tenancy goes back to 1835.

A few years ago, we took on the renovation. A journey that demanded time, money, hard work and real commitment. It was a labour of love, inspired by Jenny, a descendant of those past generations who emigrated to New Zealand, carrying Belfield with her in her heart.

This is definitely be the last Christmas tree cut this Season to welcome guests staying with us over the New Year.

Sadly Christmas isn't happy for everyone especially those who have lost someone they love during the year..this poem was read to our family by a family friend when my nan died on 23rd December few years back .. We are all set for Christmas Day. Our doors will open from 12.00pm to 4.00pm on Christmas Day, and everyone is welcome.

If you haven’t registered, please don’t worry — we can still accommodate you in our center. Simply check in at the door and our team will confirm an allocated time for you.

We do not charge anything on Christmas Day. We serve soup, traditional turkey and ham. Finally a dessert.

If you are registered to volunteer, please follow the signs to our office to sign in.
