Sean Molan is a director and owner of Sentinel Management Accounting Limited, a boutique accountancy practice and he has this to share:

"My business was built almost solely through networking and networking is the main tool for marketing for my business. I have been a member of Dublin Business Network since October 2011, the month of its inception.

Before engaging with an accountant, people will seek recommendations from trusted friends and colleagues and this is where networking becomes very important in getting my name out before potential clients.

Our network is my unofficial sales force, they know me, and my business and have the confidence to recommend my practice when they learn of a business or individual requiring accountancy or tax services.

In Dublin Business network we encourage a very business-like but also collegiate approach. We are closed today as a mark of respect to the Family and to the memory of our close friend and colleague June Nolan after a long battle with illness.

June Joined us at Crothers in 1992 as operations manager and was the back-bone of the office since that day and even up to very recently was still offering a helping hand. She will be greatly missed

May she rest in peace.

Did you know that smoke alarms must be replaced by an expiry date? It is usually 10 years from date of manufacture, and is printed on the side or inside the cover of each alarm. Check the date and replace alarms which are past their expiry.

We recently had a Digital Marketing college student join us here at Crothers Security Ltd, Wiktor Wróblewski a third-year student from TU Dublin Computer Science in Blanchardstown.

During his time with us we felt it would be beneficial for Wiktor to experience a typical day as a Crothers Security employee and this is his account.

Wiktor was a wonderful support in creating content for our blog, graphics for our social media, SEO, and more for both Crothers Security and Eila Connect. Thank you, Wiktor for spending time with us and wishing you well in your future Digital Marketing career.

We're back at the desk today, looking forward to what we hope will be a very positive year for all of us.

It’s almost Christmas time and that means a countdown to holidays too. At Crothers Security we’ll be open up to and including Friday 23rd December, closing for business at 5.30pm.



We will have an emergency service available on 24th December, also from 28th – 31st December till 8 pm and on 2nd January, leave a message at 01-4567947 and we’ll be in contact.



Our Crothers Security superstore will be closed until Tuesday 3rd January at 9.30am.
