We’re delighted to share some exciting news — has won!

At last Thursday night’s Building & Architect of the Year Awards 2026, we were proud to be awarded:
🏆 Building of the Year – Tourism, Leisure & Hospitality

We were also honoured to be finalists for Building of the Year 2026, making it a truly memorable evening. It was fantastic to be recognised alongside so many respected Irish practices.

Hazel Tree Lodge, located in Bunclody, Co. Wexford, offers high-quality tourism accommodation set within the tranquil surroundings of the River Slaney and Bunclody Golf Club — a project we are incredibly proud of.

Delighted to finally share that planning permission has been granted for this new build family home in Dunmore East.

This was a long and challenging journey - involving refusals, redesigns and an appeal to An Bord Pleanala - but persistence, collaboration and a cear vision saw us through.

We worked closely with our clients every step of the way, navigating the process together to achieve a result that makes this future home possible.

A great milestone for everyone involved, and we're looking forward to the next stage as this project moves towards construction.

A very exciting new build currently taking shape on site.

This project is particularly special to us as we've have the privilege of walking the full journey with our clients -from the first concept ideas right through to the interior design and final fit out - helping to bring their dream home to life.

It's always rewarding to see that shared vision start to take shape on site. A beautiful feature already emerging is the arched front door, now formed in blockwork, giving a first glimpse of the character this home will hold.

We're looking forward to sharing more as the build progresses.

Sometimes site visits come with the best views!

From the roof of the Ballast Office, the outlook over Wexford Harbour -with the iconic Harp standing proudly - really is something special.

It's all go here on Crescent Quay as work continues to breathe new life into this historic building. The Ballast Office is currently undergoing a full overhaul, carefully restoring it back to its original appearance while preserving its character for years to come.

We're proud to play a part in bringing a piece of Wexford's heritage back to life.

We are absolutely delighted to share that we have been shortlisted as finalists in this years . Our project Hazel Tree Lodge has been recognised in the Architectural Design Excellence category. This 30-bedroom tourism accommodation project is carefully intergrated within the wooded landscape of Bunclody Golf Course, designed to sit lightily within its setting while offering a distinctive and immersive guest experience.
We are incredibly proud of the collaboration, creativity and commitment that brought this project to life.
The awards ceremony will take place on the 28th May in the Convention Center Dublin, and we're looking forward to celebrating alongside so many talented peers.

6 pieces of advice before starting your design project.

1. UNDERSTAND THE SITE. Slope, orientation, sunlight and views all shape a homes character and comfort.

2. INVOLVE AN ARCHITECT EARLY. Early input helps avoid costly mistakes, ensures your home works with the site and lets your vision come to life.

3. DESIGN FOR DAILY LIFE. Not every house suits everybody, your spaces should support your lifestyle not just look beautiful. Consider routines, habits and family flow.

4. LIGHT AND ORIENTATION MATTER. Light is one of the most powerful design told. Plan rooms to catch morning sun where you wake and evening light where you relax. Its simple but transforms how a home feels.

5. MATERIAL CHOICES COUNT. Natural durable materials not only look and fee better, they age gracefully and make maintenance easier over time.

6. THINK BEYOND SQUARE METERS. A bigger house isn't always better. Focus on how each space works, flows and connects - quality of space often matters more than quantity.
