From a waste of space to an idyllic place - small garden just completed. Low maintenance, bright and airy was the brief....

From a waste of space to an idyllic place - small garden just completed.

Low maintenance, bright and airy was the brief. Some fantastic materials used - a composite, maintenance free deck with Egyptian limestone slabs and a border of Portugese granite - finished off with Glenview Gold stone chippings.

Day 1 and day 2 - new raised bed - oak sleepers - planed on the face - will be oiled to expose the grain - no straight lines. Back filled with new top soil and planted accordingly - deeply shaded area beneath 2 oak trees.
