This may be about Cars, but it's a perfect example of why I recommend people who have older Maytag Machines to hold on to them. It's pretty much the same idea, newer appliances use so much Plastic, (many fridges especially Asian ones - Sharp, LG, Samsung, and Beko are almost all plastic inside! Of course sometimes an old machine does eventually die and needs to be replaced but as long as you can hold on to an old machine, especially one that was built well - such as most old American or German models. Hold on to it!
