Revitalizing the rust belt
The project’s location is in one of Israel’s most polluted areas - the oil refineries (Bazan) in Haifa Bay. The project’s goal is about gradual planning that within a period of thirty years (2023 – 2053) will enable turning this area from a polluting industrial plant’s site, alienated to the city of Haifa, to a new residential habitat which embraces the reuse of plant’s segments.
