This diptych combines two completely different images, the connection between them unclear. The top image shows a fully dressed man pinching the arm of an undressed woman.In today’s charged atmosphere we can only accept this situation under medical conditions, although the relaxed pose of the man doesn’t necessary support this.The bottom image is vague. It may look like an undersea coral, a plastic toy, a flower, but its nature is not really important (it is actually a computer generated shape that doesn’t exist).The connection between the two images, in this case, is sensual, as the lower object echoes the feeling created by the contact in the upper image /su_column]

The image in this piece comes from a1960’s booklet for chiropractors, demonstrating special exercises to reduce back pain. The image opposite is from the same source.In the original image the figure’s face is visible however, the artist’s decision to cover it with a white dot suggests a meaning that is associated with criminals or victims. The strange posture might also suggest something sexual....

Haller combines personal memories with cultural issues that concern him. This image, a family photo from aholiday in the U.S. depicts the artists’ family from afar.The division into sky and ground is disrupted by the red ballon. One might relate to the artists’ association to the work of Mark Rothko. This straightforward composition is imbued cultural meaning from our times. The shape and colour of the balloon brings to mind Donald Trump‘s red election cap, with the campaign slogan that became the symbol of uncertainty....

Our lives are a constant rush for time. It's time to get married, have kids, send them to the army, get a mortgage. Bella Hvatskin wants to fight time. Her son will eventually go to the army, as all Israelis do, but in the meantime, she envisions a toy soldier with a pink gun. Everything is playful and sweet. The bright colours lure the viewer into an optimistic fantasy.
