The Chhatra Bandhu Club Durga Puja is a unique celebration that highlights local craftsmanship and community spirit. The decorations are a stunning work of art, created using 19 pieces of bamboo sourced from Tripura, skillfully arranged by Jayanta Datta from Agartala. In addition to decorating the pandal, Jayanta Datta has also crafted the beautiful Durga idol that will be worshiped throughout the festivities.
The club has partnered with Shova Electric, also based in Agartala, to illuminate the event with vibrant lights and sound, adding to the festive atmosphere. As a gesture of devotion and community service, the club will be distributing hodgepodge (khichdi) to all devotees for three days during the puja, fostering a sense of unity and celebration among all attendees.
