Hand drawings in architecture are more than sketches—they’re thinking tools.

Before software, renders, and polished presentations, design begins with a line drawn by hand. It allows ideas to flow faster, helps explore proportions, understand space, and solve problems in real time.

A hand sketch captures intent, emotion, and spontaneity that digital drawings often miss. It’s raw, instinctive, and deeply connected to the design process.

For architects, drawing by hand isn’t old-school—it’s foundational. It trains observation, sharpens spatial understanding, and builds a stronger design language.

Because sometimes, the best ideas start with pencil, paper, and no undo button. ✨

Grateful, inspired, and proud.

Thank you .india – Edition 4, organised in on 6th, 7th & 8th February, for creating a platform that encourages dialogue, exchange, and reflection within the design community. Congratulations to the founders of .india India for curating something so meaningful. We truly look forward to seeing Elev8 grow bigger in the coming years.

For us at .architects , this experience felt like a moment of self-growth. A pause to look back, assess our journey, and put our process out there—honestly and unapologetically. Our display sheet was inspired by our office pin-up board: chaotically organised, layered, constantly evolving. It gives a glimpse into how we work, how ideas overlap, how conversations happen, and how that chaos helps us do what we do best.

This showcase wouldn’t have been possible without our small yet powerful team—the backbone of Studio Baham—and all the collaborators who have worked with us over the years. Every project, conversation, and shared effort has shaped our practice in its own way.

Here’s to learning, unlearning, and continuing to grow—one pin-up, one project, one experience at a time.

A warm, muted bedroom designed to feel like a quiet escape — where earthy textures meet soft lighting.
The feature wall with a geometric world map adds personality, while the layered wall panels and under-lit detailing create depth without visual noise.

We paired a neutral palette of beige, grey and veneer with clean lines for a calm, grounded aesthetic.
Perfect for people who love minimalism but still want a space that feels rich, warm, and deeply personal.

If you’re dreaming of a bedroom that’s modern, restful, and uniquely you, we’d love to design it.
📩 DM to begin your home transformation.

Layered stone textures, soft ambient lighting, and a sculpted leather headboard create a cocoon of calm. Earth-toned fabrics, hanging bedside pendants, and a curated material palette bring balance and depth to the space — making it feel grounded, intimate, and deeply personal.

A retreat designed for slow mornings, silent evenings, and everything in between.

We 3D-printed the Goa home we’re designing — and here’s a look at how all the floors sit together 🤍

This architectural model helps us visualise spatial relationships, movement, and how everyday life flows through the home.
Designed for a family with a growing child and two medical professionals, the house balances:
- Private + social zones
- Spaces for daily routines + festive gatherings
- Calm courtyards + connected circulation
- Future flexibility + present comfort

Every level has been thoughtfully planned to adapt to changing needs while celebrating Goa’s light, breeze, and slow living charm.

If you love 3D models, coastal homes, and client-centric architecture rooted in real life, stay tuned — this one’s only getting more exciting.

Soft textures, gentle tones, and curves that calm the eye — this bedroom is designed as a quiet retreat from the rush of everyday life.
Layered with warmth through oak finishes, fluted details, and soft furnishings, the space balances function and feeling in perfect harmony.

Minimal. Timeless. Comfortable.

Sunlight supremacy
This bungalow was designed to celebrate light. Every wall puncture, every room, every window placement was a calculated move to let natural light sculpt the interiors.
It’s an introverted home — private from the street, open from within — proving that architecture isn’t about size, it’s about intention.

A home layered with light, textures, and details one cannot ignore.
An open book wall with shelves frames the space beautifully — open above for display, closed below for storage. The 8-seater custom dining table in Italian marble becomes the anchor, highlighted with a subtle overhead accent light.

A crockery unit with fluted glass, sheer curtains that filter natural light, and a kitchen island that smartly separates living-dining from the cooking zone — all crafted for function and flow.

The living area finds balance with a two-piece centre table, plush sofa seating, and a partition console that gently divides spaces without closing them off. Every corner designed to be lived in, styled, and celebrated. ✨

A bedroom designed to calm, yet layered with details that speak of warmth and intention.
From the soft sage-green fluted wall panels to the custom bedback and woven lamps, every element here is about blending modern design with natural textures.

The muted palette allows natural light to play hero, while the window seating becomes a quiet retreat within the home. Smart storage solutions are integrated seamlessly into the wardrobes and bay seating, ensuring the space stays clutter-free and elegant.

This is how we at Studio Baham approach interiors—timeless design, functional planning, and details that elevate everyday living.
