The journey inward. At Nirmay Villa, the landscape is not just a backdrop, it was designed to slow you down. layered plantations, shifting ground, the gradual presence of shade. By the time you reach the entrance, the city has already receded. The landscape does not decorate the arrival. It is the arrival, ensuring the home maintains a deep, grounded connection to the land it rises from.

NIRMAY निर्मय - Where architecture meets the earth. An aerial glimpse of the primary arrival at Nirmay Villa. To respect the client’s public role, we designed this gazebo to function as an outdoor office for a client whose professional life required a public interface, flanked by a soothing rockfall and waterbody, it creates a quiet transition into the built space without disturbing the home's private zones. Two arrivals. One site. A single, deliberate act of separation. Nirmay (निर्मय) is a Hindi word that Translates to purity and holistic well-being in English

Antaraal अंतराल
(Hindi) meaning SPACE BETWEEN THEN AND NOW
This series brings TRADITIONAL TOYS and NATURAL ARCHETYPES into CONTEMPORARY CRAFT led objects through architectural discipline.
PLAY, MOTION and NATURE are translated into structured presence, where fleeting moments, the stacking of blocks (Koshthak Khela - कोश्ठक-खेला ), the frozen spin of a Lattu (thera hua Bhraman - ठहरा हुआ भ्रमण ) and the posture of the “Sarus” (Gujarati) bird “Crane” (Antar Prakash - अन्तर-प्रकाश) are all resolved through GRIDS, GOLDEN RATIOS, BALANCE POINTS and CENTRES OF GRAVITY.
Form is generated through systems, refined by subtraction and calibration. Craft is embedded as KOFTGARI marking critical transitions between material and geometry.
The collection proposes design as a thoughtful transformation, Traditional toys integrating with traditional craft. This project represents a contemporary interpretation of traditional craft-led furniture, designed to merge the raw, structural stability of Burma Teak with the precision of Koftgari. where memory is distilled into proportion, equilibrium and enduring presence.
A series of handcrafted objects exploring material, craft, and surface combining teak wood, Koftgari and manual fabrication processes.

Koftgari is a handcrafted metal inlay tradition where delicate GOLD or SILVER wires are carefully embedded into metal surfaces through detailed manual craftsmanship.

Each piece is individually crafted and not industrially produced.
