Visiting project sites is a critical part of shaping young design minds, it transforms drawings into lived experience, and intent into understanding.
At INI Design Studio, we strongly believe in exposing our emerging talent to real-world projects as an essential part of their learning journey and professional development.
As part of this commitment, our young design team recently visited the Surat Municipal Corporation Headquarters, India’s largest, tallest, and first net-zero government office complex.
The visit was thoughtfully curated by Ar. Saumil, Director- Architecture & Urban Planning at INI, and further enriched by Ar. Sagar from our on-ground team, who shared valuable insights into the project’s evolution, challenges, and ex*****on.
The experience began with a detailed film presentation outlining the vision and making of the project, followed by an immersive walkthrough of key spaces, enabling the team to understand spatial planning, architectural detailing, and design intent at scale.
More than a visit, this was a meaningful learning experience, offering clarity on how ideas translate into impactful built environments.
At INI, nurturing future talent is not an initiative, it is a responsibility we take seriously.
